On Saturday 16th December 2017, the Animal Protection & Woodland Organisation will be hosting a vegan Christmas food tasting at three of its Animal Protection shops in the Bexley area. All are invited to attend and sample a selection of delicious, cruelty-free vegan alternatives to the traditional Christmas dinner. Educational literature will also be available to take away.
The Animal Protection & Woodland Organisation hopes people will take this opportunity to learn more about modern food production practices and how animals can be helped at no expense to good eating and festive celebration. A spokesman for APWO said "The benefits of a vegan lifestyle are undeniable; for the animals, for human health and for the environment. The popularity of veganism has exploded these last few years and it is now easier than ever to remove the cruelty of the meat and dairy industry from your diet. We want to challenge the misconception that vegans only eat nut roast and look forward to seeing the pleasant surprise of people when they realise how awesome veganism can be."
The promotion will take place between 12.00 and 16.00 at the following locations on Saturday 16th December:
Animal Protection Shop, 18 Pickford Lane, Bexley Heath, DA7 4QW
Animal Protection Shop, 15 Wellington Parade, Blackfen, DA15 9NB
Animal Protection Shop, 38 Nuxley Road, Belvedere, DA17 5JN
